Sourcing Beans and Planning the Next Month

Sourcing Beans and Planning the Next Month

As I sit in this beautiful coffee shop in Quebec City, I started thinking about what’s ahead.

Today felt like one of those small but powerful moments—the kind you look back on when everything’s up and running and think about how it all started.

I grabbed a double espresso and got to work. Just me, a laptop, my mustache, and the WiFi password.

☕ The Mission Today

I spent the afternoon talking to potential coffee suppliers. One of them, Equator Coffee, really resonated with me—ethically sourced beans, real investment in farming communities, and the kind of transparency that lines up perfectly with what I want Stashio to stand for.

I’m also trying to connect with WestCoast Coffee. But, as expected, patience is key when reaching out as a new brand—credibility takes time to build, and replies don’t always come quick.

This Sunday, I’m linking up with my friend (and designer) who’s working on packaging ideas. Can’t wait to see what she’s come up with! I told her if this works out, she’s got free coffee for life.

Tuesday’s a big day too. I’m meeting with a lawyer to officially register the business and then opening a business bank account. Luckily, my old coworkers at the bank are down to help me out. (Turns out that MBA came in handy after all 😅).

Lastly, I made a playlist called Coffee and Vibes—a mix of laid-back house, smooth rhythms, and mellow energy to match the grind. Whether you're building something, sipping something, or just vibing, this is the soundtrack to keep you flowing.

I’m filming my first YouTube video this week—introducing myself, the brand, and the mission behind all of this.

If you’re reading this, thanks for being part of the ride. It’s just the beginning, but I’m already loving every second of it.
